The point is - we have no debt. The debt is Romans so it would be factored into any sale. In any event he is creating a legacy for his son but don't let facts get in the way. We've been the highest spenders in the country since Jan, does that really seem like someone who is going to jump ship anytime soon.

As for business models, I wouldn't expect a small club like yours to understand but there is more to earning money than through ticket sales. Its things like shirt sales and tours to asia etc that help fund our stars much as it is for any big club.

There are at least 3 clubs bigger in London than Leeds - one club rugby town.

 

I actually think of them as being a bigger club than they clearly really are. Perhaps it's from the 70's side they had or that they are a one club city but some of the stats are eye opening and their fans are now trying to hold on to google search results as a mark of a big club.

 

again you've missed the point. I personally reckon he is going for one last hurrah but i could be wrong anyway, he cant be there forever and will eventually leave. All the debt wil be his but he wont continue to pay wages every week for a club he doesnt own will he.... So the new owner comes in and freaks out about the wage structure and now needs to get the highest earners of the books because it is no longer sustainable without outside help. You then sel all your best players and fall down the league because of it, managers will start ot get sakced because the expectation hasnt dropped however the funds have and you will o into the mysterious land of inconsistencynwhich means that you'll always be trying to get back to the top of the premier league but failing because you simply do not have the funds available anymore and may even go into more debt because you tart buying players you cant afford for a final effort and go into obscurity. Anyway, just a wild stab in the dark and im logging off now anyway
