If that happens then he (NP) will have my wholehearted support. No point in wasting game time on wantaway players - throw them in the bin and play players who want to wear the shirt - even if they are not as good as the wantaways - they are the future and the wantaways are the past waiting for it to happen.
spot on and the same with Vyner -have to say he was shocking Saturday but so were the other 10 players as well.
My patience is starting to wear a bit thin when we constantly hear about players with potential joining our club as we have tried that same route for way too long for it to be viable, based on our history. We have had home grown potential for years and all that seems to contribute is to a sell-off of those vital elements to go into a void of the unknown footballer. There is a serious shortage of height for those rare chances when we get the ball nicely in the air around the penalty spot and we don't need someone who is reported at 6' 2" who can't head the ball to add to the mix. Now someone of that height who is a terror in the box is more appropriate but they probably wouldn't consider lowering themselves to sign for Bristol City. Lately I am getting more of a feeling that we are all we want to be and to hell with all of the promises flushed down the drain. Apathy is alive and well at Ashton Gate so there is no need to worry unless we drop to League One where we will be promised a thriving challenge as promotion contenders, but never apparently with any big boys.

loan signing, so needs to play at least 30 games or at least 2200 minutes on the pitch! to get an assessment. If we turn him into a quality player can WBA BACK OUT OR IS IT set in stone... our option to stump up £1.3m. likely to be on £ 8-10k pw?
I just think it's great that we've made a positive move, people can knit pick if they like but do they think we would have made this signing without due diligence, knowledge of the player, his ability and have complete confidence in him, most of us have been sceaming out for Nige to be enabled to make a move in the transfer or loan market, obviously SL has undersigned it, so the financial support and trust is there, the rumours are that at least 1 other is coming, there could be other suprises. It's great news after the poor start we have suffered, performances should improve but I for one feel it't a positive step in the right direction, patience is a virtue and mine had nearly disapeared but here I go again. Up the City.

Never been a fan of loans, we’ve plenty of young hopefuls of our own, why loan another. Imo we need quality championship standard players, none of the ones we’re bringing In fit the bill, just filling the squad with players for the future, we’ve got rid of quality and are replacing them with quantity. I hope I’m wrong, but since Scott was sold we seem to have lost the plot
You do realise he’s played 47 games in the championship. We’ve basically bought him for £2 million but on a try before you buy deal.
WBA fans are livid and gutted they don't like it one bit. Reckon we got a corker in him. Try before we buy at 2 million quid tops sounds like a bargain. They ain’t happy https://westbrom.com/forum/index.php?topic=26492.550
I’ve nothing against him, but he’s a young promising player, it may be good deal I the long run, I’m not suggesting it’s not. If we add some experience as well this signing may be ideal, but at present I’m underwhelmed
I can't believe WBA would allow this loan and sale if he was that decent. SL is kicking the can down the road.
I think WBA are like us before the AS’s sales. They’ve no parachute money and need some money. I read that Alex Mowatt could also be leaving there as well.
I think you're bang on. I have a very good mate who's a Baggies ST holder and he said there were rumor's amongst the fans last week that they may go into administration, and this week they're shedding assets, so maybe it's true?
