This is exactly why I don't have a Twitter account. It's full of absolute idiots, many of whom just seem to stir up this type of **** for their personal amusement, rather than because it's what they actually believe. These people who hide behind fake accounts and pretend to be 'fans' etc. just so they can troll others are the worst. Just pathetic low lifes. It seems like just about everyone who is famous gets trolled and abused, regardless of their personality. Having a laugh and a bit of debate on a forum like this is one thing, but trolling people publicly is just sad and shameful.
I might add, 'celebs' (including footballers) should view Twitter for what it is and not get drawn in or upset by these idiots.

I once sent Michael Owen a mean tweet. He just finished at Man U and I told him he's finished and should just get a League One club if he's desperate. That's his level.
