Qatar and rasicm may not be a problem, but homosexuality is against the law there. Something else Mr Blatter left disgusting remarks on.

Got to hand it to Sepp. He picked a doozy:

Qatar is a transit and destination country for men and women trafficked for the purposes of involuntary servitude and, to a lesser extent, commercial sexual exploitation. Men and women from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Sudan, Thailand, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and China voluntarily travel to Qatar as laborers and domestic servants, but some subsequently face conditions indicative of involuntary servitude. These conditions include threats of serious harm, including financial harm; job switching; withholding of pay; charging workers for benefits for which the employer is responsible; restrictions on freedom of movement, including the confiscation of passports and travel documents and the withholding of exit permits; arbitrary detention; threats of legal action and deportation; false charges; and physical, mental and sexual abuse. - U.S. State Dept Trafficking in Persons Report, June, 2009

The man thinks he rules the world. All he thinks about is money and not caring if people get hurt by what he says.

before now i wanted him to resign but now i want him to stay, if he is forced to resign over his comments on racism which have been taken out of context i will be devastated. we shouldnt fuel this fire, mark bright, rio ferdinand should be ashamed of themselfs taking what he said out of context like that. if a sly dig like terrys can be resolved peacefully on the pitch rather than dragged through the media and court surely thats better? im all for it being resolved peacefully. aslong as racism is kept out of the stands i dont care whats said on the pitch between player and player, fact is there isnt one all white prem team so for one player to actually be a racist in tis day and age is very unlikely.

This is the tip of the iceberg as far as reasons for him to resign go, yet you'd be devastated? How about telling homosexual fans not to travel to the World Cup? Or saying women players should wear shorter shorts?

A 'sly dig' like Terrys alleged offense shouldn't be happening at all, and to assume during the course of the game he's changed his frankly unacceptable views and the victim should accept a handshake is laughable.

I'm afraid I have to agree with this.

A reckless challenge, a bit of push/shoving, being called a t***: all that you'd hope to put behind you while you swap shirts. Being called a ****ing paki or ****** is a bit more important than a studs up challenge. If the person who said it apologises then the recipient can decide whether to accept or not, but it's not a normal part of the game which can be dealt with by a "No hard feelings, reet".

Well when we all witness Monkey chants coming from the terraces at the World Cup in Russia, which Sepp Blatter insisted had to happen, he can feel proud of his achievements. Some one should shake his hand.......

    Ignorance is Blatter.

I've been to Tunisia on holiday, and I found the hotel staff had a very obvious racist attitude towards coloured english guests. For example, it was waiter service only in the bar, but they would would simply walk past a black guest who had his/her hand up, for service, and serve a white guest next to them. I was so annoyed about it, I made a complaint to the Thompson rep about it.

Suffice it to say, if the Jolly Green Giants qualify for either Russia or Quatar, I won't be travelling to either dump!

I know its the tip of the ice berg the man is a fool but I agree with what he is implying. There a diffrent forms of racis, for example calling someone black is diffrent from the n word as that has links with slavery and oppression. Me saying 'I don't like black people' is predjudice and is wrong but not illegal, me sayin I won't give black people jobs is discrimintion as that is illegal and wrong. What terry may have said is wrong but it should be sorted by the ref or the FA the police! How long til players start getting each other done for assualt for a malicoius tackle which is far more hurtful than a comment.

Blatter didn't say racisim can be settle by a handshake he said whatever happens between two playes should stay on the field and be forgotton about after. Mr blatter is in the right although a little insesitive. Basically read what he said don't read the fukin sun and get your opinions from that.

When blatter quits I want him to be rembered as an idiot who was good at his job not a man forced to step down over his comments on racism.

Notice no mention of this in french, spanish or german press only in great britain? This country is to over sensitive, we all know what the guy means, he isn't condoning racism just playing some forms of it down, his views on black managers and racist chantin are exemplarary

All I can think of at this juncture is Father Ted and the classic line, "I hear you're a racist now father"

Anyone who agrees with Blatter Should be ashamed of themselves. Any form of racism is a crime here and what he is implying is remarkable. He clearly lives in his own stupid world where he thinks what he says is right.

Blatter has constantly spouted idiotic things without realising the damage he causes. Now to say players who been abused with racist remarks by other players should shake hands and move on is unbelieveable. I can't believe some people on here are defending him over this.

Black players and the black community should make a stand against this and I hope they do because what he is basically saying is that black players should let racism be hurled towards them and get on with it like nothing has happened. People should not be abused by their skin colour, it is disrepectful on so many levels.

    Blatter Out!!
