From what VG has learned, Johan Hove is on his way away from Groningen and close to a move to Southampton. The 22-year-old played in the U21 European Championship for Norway in the summer and was clear that he wanted to move on after relegation with Groningen in the Netherlands. There, Hove confirmed to VG that he has a buy-out clause as a result of the relegation. "It's a sum that has been decided internally, but I don't want to comment on what it's on," Hove said. He also added that there was no question of continuing in the Netherlands after the relegation. Southampton were relegated from the Premier League last season. Stavanger Aftenblad reported on Monday that Hove was high on Viking's wish list.
No idea. All I know from Google is that he's a CM/AM. So Charly's replacement for those who like to panic.
Hey good rumour posting on what is after a Transfer Rumour thread. It doesn't matter if they sign or not, they're rumours we can discuss. Good work.
I have friends in Groningen. I better enquire about him! EDIT: Well, the first person I asked responded with: "I don't give two ****s about football"...
Good to see the 'Vikings' rebrand taking shape after the 140 year 'Saints' experiment resulted in us not having enough of a nasty streak
Sadly, this rumour has muddled up Southampton and Vikings Stavanger, who actually seem to be buying him!
