Bristol City are struggling to get any consistency to their play and most certainly are struggling to score goals. Unless there is a drastic improvement in our play then sadly i only see a home win on the card.
We're Bristol City anything is possible. Our results, formations and performances have become almost impossible to predict in advance.
Really disappointed start to the season- i was expecting more -the first three games do not give me any confidence going forward into the season. Unless a big turnaround starts to happen this is going to be a long hard season once again.
Despite the players we've brought in, I could never see us finishing in the top half of the table this season and despite the win at Millwall I don't see a reason to be more optimistic unfortunately. I've watched the highlights of all the Championship games so far, and we look a lot slower and predictable then most of the decent teams. But you never know.......all we can do is hope
Not quick enough gong forward and there was lots of sideways and backwards football Saturday against Brum. Reminded me of the LJ AND DH times. For me a lack of confidence going forward-Brum were decisive and attack minded unlike us. Hull are a very attack minded side as well.
I’ve yet to be convinced with the signings we’ve brought in.. but very early days.. I don’t think it’s always a bad thing having a mixed start like we have.. many a time we have a good start and then go to pieces.. that’s why you need a good few games under the belt to see where we’re at. Imo we lack attempts on goal and finishing..
Most of his first season, and the first half of last season under NP was like this, why are you surprised now? I think you were largely alone in thinking we would be top 6 this season, most of the rest of us can plainly see the reality that we are at best top 10, but more likely bottom half this season. I know you think NP walks on water and can do no wrong, but that isn't, and never is the case.

I believe that if this isn’t NPs best season and we look to be finishing mid table or lower, the plug will be pulled by all parties and we will be back to square one and then next season I can see us getting relegated to league 1.. This season will indicate how good or bad NP is as a manager.. we should be going all out.. sh!t or bust imo.
Absolutely agree about going for it this season, that needs backing from on high and I’m not seeing it. We’ve sold quality this year, unless we bring quality in to replace it it’s going to be a long season, The lads we’ve brought in are all well and good, but they aren’t going to drive us on this season. We need a couple of quality championship standard players to compliment them.
I reckon Nige will not sign another contract next season unless he can see the restrictions he is under lifted. You cannot keep selling your best assets and expect to progress. Nige is being asked to pick up bargains yet MR L HAS PULLED 25 MILLION 12 MILLION THIS LAST YEAR not mentioning the Webster -Reid funds. For me we have everything in place top manager-top ground-top training facilities but a bang average team.
I’ve a feeling it’ll be mutual, SL would back him financially if he wanted him to stay. I reckon holding some back for the next manager. Possibly Robins
Of course not, it didn't suit the narrative. Amazing how many similar things are happening at the club now, to then, but as this manager is taller, and not a family friend of the owner, it's all different.....
We then go back to your cheap and cheerful manager that we have always been use to. The joys of following Bristol City.
