I doubt Mainoo is the reason we're holding back on buying a DM tbh. Not unless we plan to throw away the CL before we've even played a game.

We definitely need one if we're going to compete in all competitions and there's no way Mainoo is ready for that. He should be blooded in through the League Cup, and coming off the bench in certain league games etc.

It’s okay. I gave him the second like. He’s an influencer and needs it. Haha

It was on a go slow so I tapped it twice. Can't we just pretend it was an important point and needed to be made twice!

Greenwood to leave Manchester United -

"Manchester United have announced that Mason Greenwood will be leaving the club following an internal investigation into the allegations of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault against him

All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United. It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome."

At least now all can move on. If this would be the eventual outcome, the club should have done that long ago.

Good, hopefully everyone can find something else to cry about.

I can't believe they were considering him staying but I guess Twitter knows best.

or not, as has been shown today.

Nah they're still crying. Apparently it's about us taking too long now <doh>

It was never about the accusations against him, just another lot of faux virtue signalling...and of course it's United.

Trial by social media really is a thing, isn't it. The decision is right for the club and right for the player and his young family. Hopefully we can get decent money for him during this window and the lad can move on and rebuild a career elsewhere

    Yeah, I have seen.

They can all move on to Antony now.

Can't we come up with some fictitious girlfriend for Haaland to make some spicy allegations and have him suspended. Seems to be all you need.

You’ll have to rape her on an audio recording and then punch her black and blue first, but yeah, that’ll work if you do that.

No mate that would be different. Partey's different too. Mendy as well. We don't believe the countless women in these cases, they're not worthy.

I bet the same posters getting on their high horse about Mason have probably cheered on Benzema and Ribery and plenty of others.

Virtue signalling is selective <laugh>

I'd call it good business if we could arrange a swap, Grenwood for Amrabat.

It would be an absolute win/win for both clubs but I think it's a bit late in the window to do that deal.

Don't know about you but I'm getting a bit fed up of every deal depending on a player leaving. Amrabat seems to be another with VDB apparently having to be sold. It's not even about whether we need to as we don't, we can afford to buy regardless.

Here's another one, we have to sell Henderson first <doh>
