Don't muck about with what works.

    Keep the back 5 intact.

    Keep Ba in the hole.

Play the nearest equivalent to Best up front, which appears to be Shola.

Play Guthrie as the nearest equivalent to Tiote, and your best available winger: Sammi or HBA

Even knowing our history of starting young defenders in the wrong place (Taylor, Ramage, Kadar etc) I'd still swap Raylor and Santon. As a one off I don't think an attacking fullback will suffer from playing there, and if anything will end up swapping with Simpson at times anyway. Keeps the back 4 stable too which (correct me if I'm wrong) has been unchanged all season.

    And Tiote if fit obviously.

If Tiote's injured then we'll have to play Ben Arfa in the middle, which worries me a bit... cos we were playing 451 against Blackburn in the Cup, with Benny as AM, and apparently we were poor going forward ... But maybe it's because we were missing Shola :p

I really really really (etc.) don't want to mess about with the formation in order to give Ben Arfa a start.

Read the thread. Nobody's predicting success, we're just picking our preferred team.

Your kind and not at all arrogant ****head comments are, however, appreciated

Even the best teams in the world have weaknesses, and if we can exploit it, then anything is possible. Of course your team will be favourites but like Keegan once said, I'LL LOVE IT WITH WE BEAT YOU !!! because of big headed ****s like you !!!

Has to be gosling or guthrie (if tiote plays) on the right intink for me.

Santon has never played there for us so wouldn't introduce him to premiership football against city
    Taylor has to RB surely
HBA is class...but can't play on the wing as it seems pardeaux likes the wingers to help RB/LB
Sammy again may struggle to help defend against city players.
