Some very odd statements there though. United essentially saying he was innocent ‘we concluded that he did not commit the offences he was charged for’. Either suggesting he was totally innocent, or he was guilty of different charges but not saying what? Greenwood saying in his statement - ‘I was cleared of all charges’ which isn’t factually correct unless mistakes? Case was dropped which is totally different to being cleared of the charges? If those two statements were true then he should be back playing for united as has done nothing wrong.
They seem to be painting a picture that he did something, but not what people think (and presumably not as bad). The stink won't go away until the audio is explained, but they seem reluctant to do that, for whatever reason. Wonder if more information will be leaked once he's left.
I think the audio is damning regardless of anything else where public opinion is on this i Suppose they could have been rehearsing a scene ? You would imagine they would have got that out early though Are the couple still together ?
You see for me that’s where this is And that’s why the audio is damning to us I think it has the hallmarks of a troubled relationship we have a lady who has perhaps cried Wolf it’s a powder keg situation Tbh I think Utd have made the correct sensible decision here
That's the thing. Either there is no explanation, in which case they're lying, or there is some sort of explanation which explains how the charges were dropped, but which they don't want to make public for some reason (possibly legal reasons?). The victim also never wanted to press charges and asked for them to be dropped, and is still with him. Troubled relationship? Doesn't want to lose the Lifestyle? Some other explanation?
the images published on the day are crystal clear. she ended his career in one second then regretted cutting the money tree down. her ideal outcome I guess is him.going to Saudi Arabia and sending the money back
Utd know what he did. They can't come out and say, he's a horrible little **** though. The business people wouldn't have wanted him to go for nothing, but I'm fairly sure there will be a couple of lads that wouldn't be happy sharing the same pitch. He will get picked up by a foreign side, no problem. I hope he gets snapped in two the first game.
As with every business calculations would have been done. How much is he worth v how much damage to our image will keeping him on do. If he was a global superstar, it would of been brushed under the carpet.
It's a hope, probably a vane hope. If he played for my team he wouldn't make it through the first training session.
utd genuinely wanted to keep him in. they've had a massive backlash from the female side and have decided to go back on it and ditch for some cash. the fact thst they have misjudged cannot be swept under the carpet. the oh we will do this that and the other for him is also hilarious
Seems the yellow for asking for a yellow isn’t a thing anymore. Or David Coote just bring his **** self. Havertz stops quick free kick. No yellow Eze then asks for a yellow. No yellow partat trips Eze in box. Looked a pen. No pen given. Pratay and odegard ask for a yellow for diving. No yellows given
there you go. absolutely no consistency and random decisions based on who wants attention as the big ref man this week.
Can’t blame them for wanting to keep him - he is an asset so there has to be some thought process However they have come to the right decision and to be fair to Utd right up until this point hey have been dealing with the issue brilliantly imho I have no doubt that they would have sacked him had he been found guilty IF the lady in question has decided she is prepared to put up with it for the lifestyle that’s bonkers but I genuinely don’t see that Utd have done much of anything wrong
