    Some pretty good crowds.

Our average in 1979/80 in Div 2 was 23266.
Leeds averaged 22888 in DIV 1.

And the season before Roman took over in 2002/3, our average was 39,770.
The season before that, our average was 39,030

You're very selective with your figures!

What about 1982 and 1983 or maybe 1987 or 1989? You could even let us know 1990 to 1995?

Just in case you struggle to find them here they are:-

    1982 - 13,132
    1983 - 12,672
    1987 - 17,694
    1989 - 15,957
    1990 - 21,783
    1991 - 20,906
    1992 - 18,780
    1993 - 18,754
    1994 - 19,211
    1995 - 21,025

Why have you missed out certain seasons?

    83/4 Chelsea average in Div 2: 21,120
    Leeds 15,493
    84/5 Chelsea 23.065
    84/5 Leeds 16,161

    85/6 Chelsea 21,985
    85/6 Leeds 13,259

Plus the third best away support in England as the Old Bill always said on any doc.

Leeds average in the early 60s when Revie started: 13607 in 60/61; in 61/62, 13,443. No historical fan base,

Leeds: no history, no fans, Born 1919; died 2003

Why have you left out all the seasons Chelsea averaged more than Leeds

    http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/...l-time-english-league-attendance-records.html

    All time average:

    Chelsea in fifth 31,322

Leeds in 10th: 25,634 despite having a 700000 population and only one club

So really we're not that far behind. And yes the Fair's Cup counts, it's what is now the Europa League. Harder to win than the FA Cup or League Cup at the very least.

I'm merely showing you where you were before the Russian mafia took over and that your crowds are now mainly glory supporters. If Mr A decides to take his loan back and go and find another project (after all he's going to realise eventually you're never going to win the CL), not only will the support dwindle so will your club.

It's actually quite shocking they they are still trying to go down this road when it's clearly been established that over our respective histories we've won more and had better support home and away and are currently one of the top teams in Europe compared to them being outside the top flight for what 8 years??

Jesus wept. Know when to back down...

The old fairs cup was a joke of a competition. Do some history. Maybe we should start including the Zenith data systems trophy, the Asia cup and other such mickey mouse competitions.

    Again...keep dreaming.

You should be ****ing thanking us on your knees. Not only did Grandfather Bates save your club but we're the sole reason United haven't won 7 league trophies on the bounce.

    I'm waiting....

to be fair, im kinda surprised hes lasted as long as he has. hes getting close though, not as willing to spend (before this season anyway). I reckon he'll be out within the next 5 years, which may mean a big firesale at stamford bridge

Also if you have the third best away support in the country, I'm pretty sure we have the best. In fact, we do, we've had the highest average away attendances for years.

He means the real United... Manchester.

Not the club formed in 1919 with no history

We've already established that United means Manchester United, the fact you can't grasp that is worrying and maybe an internet forum where you have to at least be able to follow a thread is not for you.
