Going back to Darcy. He is not without his problems, personally i would sell him off, at best he is a utility player for us, and the boy wants more. It will be interesting to see if anyone comes in for him, he is a bit of a homeboy so The Wurzels may be right up his street.

We agreed on this at the time and I stand by it. 3 in the middle really suits him, he's very neat and tidy in possession. The way Malky's team looks to KEEP possession rather than lump it forward under any pressure is my favourite improvement over last year.

to be honest i havent actually seen that much improvement in the quality of football played here, we still mix it up and hoof it long to miller, and we do have a few players who can knock the ball about, same as last year really <ok>

I really disagree, they might not be the finished article but the intention to play from the back and keep the ball is different imo.

I'll have to ask for my ST money back, I must be watching the wrong team.

If we wanted to sign Darcy Blake, the cultured centre back, one of the up and coming stars of a good welsh side, what would we have to pay for him I wonder?

Well if i were lucky enough to be a pro footballer on a very good wage, i think i would only drink in the off season, however the Tredegar arms comes a calling for Darcy. Get rid of him, he has little or no chance of making the bench let alone the starting 11.

After today, at this time he is really going to struggle to break a settled defence. A rare luxury of riches!
