I mean, nobody in our current squad has more Champ goals to their name and he's still only 27. He also outscored Che (not hard) in all of his PL seasons with Brighton. I wouldn't mind us signing a couple of bastards. Martin has mentioned a couple of times that we're too nice and he wants some people who shake it up.

And Martin is right. We've all been saying that we need a ****house on the team. The nastiest we've been in recent years is JWP sarcastically smiling at Zaha. If someone is winding up the opposition, their manager and fans and it gets us points I'd fully take it. Christ knows we needed someone with a nasty streak last season

One thing with Maupay - he's on £50k + a week. Add a probably sizeable loan fee and the difficulty of any 'option to buy' at those wages and this isn't a cut and dry 'bargain' loan transfer. I'm not against it if he's the right fit for the squad and he'd clearly score goals if he integrated well but not convinced it will fit with what RM and co want.
If Tella is indeed happy, absolutely no reason to sell unless a team offers crazy money (I'm talking 25mill+).
