Just realised, QPR on the weekend is the last game before the end of the window. Get a result and it will have been an excellent start. Sunderland then on the 2 Sept before a very well-timed international break. Then it's Leicester home. So long as we can get new and retained players fit and firing for that one I'm sure RM will be happy. That will be a massive two weeks for us.
If we are in absolute dreamland scenarios. Let's also wish for a new contract for Che and Smallbone...and KWP to stay.

Well I hope we are bringing in an absolutely stonking striker in that case, has to be someone who hits the ground running and competes for Champ top scorer.
Yeah be interesting to see who we bring in. I think we have a good chance of finding someone who will score a lot, we will be attacking a lot more than the scraps our strikers had to live off in the PL
If it's not Piroe, and that could be unlikely if he's signing a new deal, the only other striker that's really been linked is Ross Stewart from Sunderland. He wasn't in their squad on the weekend, but not sure if he's injured. He's apparently rejected a new deal from them. Piroe would make the most sense surely. Proven at this level under the same manager, it'd be mental if we weren't in for him.

Random thought but given Everton play one up top and may have Calvert-Lewin, Adams (seemingly likely), Maupay, Chermiti and Dobbin - what about if we could get Neal Maupay coming on loan from Everton AND use the Ché money to pursue someone else like Piroe?
