They have already created a potential financial hole by buying boots, apparently gold lined and diamond studded.
The biggest issue for Everton is they've been trying to move out of Goodison Park since 1996, but so many plans got scuppered
- King's Dock fell apart in 2001 due to funding
- Kirkby fell apart in 2009 when local government rejected the plans due to a Tesco being part of the plans
- Stanley Park Stadium could’ve been a goer, but Saltypool didn't want to share and then FSG decided to redeveloped Anfield instead
- Bramley-Moore Dock was acquired in 2017, but with costs spiralling to £500m that put Everton on the hook for at least £220m of that by 2018 - and they didn't even break ground until 2021, what with there being a global pandemic when they were finally getting the finances sorted
So if they do drop, they won't have the safety net Villa had due to not paying off a stadium, a stadium which reportedly won't be ready until late next year
No I understand but it messes with your emotions when a manager you loved joins a club you hated. I feel a little less animosity towards them now that the Russian crook has left and look forward to the American looney reaping the consequences of lack of understanding of football costing him even more millions. I don't think that I'm being too reactive when I suggest that Pochettino should be sacked tonight.
Chelsea should also demolish Stamford Bridge and move to Penzance.
