Just how much of the P R being repeated is clubs trying to unsettle the players concerned? Relax do you really think Wilcox and Martin would sell the Crown Jewels without an adequate replacement, we have the cash available but is highly unlikely we will need to splash much cash it is all hype.
Comments like "profit over promotion" and SR asset stripping are ridiculous and are a result of people losing their ****. The club do business behind the scenes which is why we don't hear of incomings until they are nearly done. Outgoing rumours come from other clubs first - can't do anything about that. But obviously people want the club to air all transfer dealings which is bloody stupid quite frankly. It's frustrating to see all the outgoings without anyone coming in. But Downes would have been done by now had it not been for unforeseen circumstances and I don't doubt the club are working hard to bring players in. Wilcox wouldn't have come here if SR were just going to sell players and not buy.
Jason Wilcox. Why would he have come here if all SR were planning was asset stripping or just concerned in making money from sales? I have seen nothing from him to suggest I can't trust him. Players will come in. We just don't air our dirty washing in public unlike other clubs. Hence all the outgoing rumours and not many incoming ones. It just requires us fans to be patient.

That's not losing their ****, though. That's just someone's opinion. You might disagree with that, but noone here is losing their ****. Yes, people might be negative or have a poor opinion of SR. So what? After last year, its probably deserved. They have to earn trust back, and that takes time. But again, it's just someone's opinion you disagree with constitutues "losing their ****" in your world. It's fine to disagree with someone, but disparage others opinions just cos its not your viewpoint.

Fair enough. Wilcox seems like a decent bloke but ultimately he's answerable to SR, and I don't trust those twats one bit.

I'm not as bothered about Tella/KWP personally as think wide players and full backs are easier to find than goalscorers generally speaking. Alcaraz would be the worst one to lose.
What I will say is remember ABK signing? That came completely out of the blue. Just because there are no rumours it doesn't mean Dragan Solak has taken all the money or Wilcox and co are all sat at home twiddling their thumbs. I do expect things to start heating up next week.
Adams is the only player where we haven’t been linked to a replacement already Patrick Roberts would be Tella replacement Djed Spence would be KWP replacement Zak Vyner would be ABK replacement If rumours are to be believed. I’m sure we will be linked to a striker soon enough
