Sat on the balcony in Gran Ganaria whilst the missus is getting the kids to bed. Been 38 degrees today with a wind like someone opened an oven door. Probs a bit too much for me like. Still, plenty drinks required to cool me down
Strange that Because we’ve just returned in July from Stalis in Crete And the food all over was the best ever Infact it was better than it had been all there years I’ve been to Greece We think they have upped the game I think you were unlucky maybe better next time
Aye most likely. Been a while since the last trip abroad so I might have built it up in my head too much.
Not a summer holiday but just booked krakow 4 days in feb any recommendations other than the obvious, we’re doing auschwitz, salt mines, Schindler’s factory maybe something more light hearted
Drove down to Porthleven in Cornwall yesterday, got a couple of weeks down here and weather looks like it’s finally gonna pick up after a storm tonight/early am…. Hoping for a similar SAFC trajectory, so will try and switch off from the footie a bit and see what we’re like come end of August window. Try being the operative word. Some canny wave bashing on the beach this morning with family. Bikes, board/wetsuit, golf clubs, books and the local hospitality to keep me/us pleasantly occupied .
Did you talk to the owner, massive fan he is. There’s a few of them that come over for the matches now and again. Been in there many a time. Lake Garda is my favourite place
Unfortunately I didn't , but we are back there next week. Now that I know that I will have a chat with him.
We had such a great time in Cape Verde that we have booked to go back in November. Really good price we got as well, only downside is flying from Manchester.
This time tomorrow we will be on our little caravan break in Northumberland. Praying for good weather so we can get to the beach and explore the coastline. Only 4 nights, but a change of scenery
It's only an hour from our house, but still feels like a proper holiday. Going to get to Alnwick Castle as well (hopefully)
Last time we drove over to see Alnwick and Bamber they were both bloody shut so we are off again to have another try
Its worth having a day up to Ingram Valley if the weather is good. Great picnic area and a short walk up to Linhope Spout waterfall. Had many happy days up there when the kids were young and still go up with the grandkids https://www.northumberlandnationalpark.org.uk/walk/linhope-spout-walk/
