Well done Spain. England not really in the game unfortunately, couldn't cope with Spain's pressing and didn't create any major chances. England should still be proud of the progress they are making. I look forward to more finals.
If ever there was a goalkeeper who didn’t deserve to be on the losing side. As other people have said though, Spain were just better. Despite their cheating ways.
Spain the much better side and deserve their win. Still a great achievement by England to get to the final, considering injuries to some key players.
Conning the ref and going down/feigning injury to waste time. I know a lot of teams do it but it doesn’t make it right.
And a again I saw them and there was some late challenges that were nasty but let’s not be squealers our women would do exactly the same They were hammered 1-0 Like us doing sheff wed at Wembley
Replays showed there was bad contact in many of those challenges, accidental perhaps but painful all the same.
Shame that, but tbh Spain deserved it,says it all when Earps was our best player.. bit puzzled about em bringing off Russo at half time, and Bronze will be having mares tonight despite her being one of England's best for many a year. Still a tournament to be proud of though so well done ladies, one step.nearer the big prize
Strange how so many people are praising earps. She was at fault for the goal. Then the Spanish lass hit the ball both of her feet were off the ground and she wasn’t set. Absolute school kid basics. Good penalty save. But she didn’t have a foot on the line when it was struck so it should have been retaken really. She’s too hyper for me, massive joe hart vibes.
Bronze is the one I don’t get, the commentators gas her up as some mercurial talent but she’s very lazy to me. Players like Hemp, Carter and Greenwood should be getting the plaudits
Paralluelo kicked the ball away to waste time and should have been booked, but the ref let her off as she was already on a yellow.
Bronze was responsible for the goal why she decided to cut into midfield where a lot of players were is bewildering if there was'nt a pass on for her she should have played it down the line as it was she left a big gap down our right which Spain exploited
