Cos he was relying on his size to excel in the 21's. It's a different game when people are just as strong as you are. Ask Edmondson. It's why I rated Summerville and Gnonto really highly after seeing what they can do at that u21 level. They were just head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch including other first teamers. Greenwood and Joffy just haven't progressed. I genuinely think Greenwood could be turned in to a central midfielder over time. I genuinely don't know what to do with Joffy at this point. He's not a midfielder, he's not a 10, he's not a 9. He failed at Sunderland and seems to have zero confidence. I'd stick him back with the 21's to get some confidence back.
