You’re not wrong even this early into a season - next 2 matches up then are Ipswich who are on fire away and JBs whom have the Indian sign against us at home.
On paper yes but we’ve played 2 of the fancied teams away and on balance we should have had at least 4 points. We didn’t get beaten 4-0 but competed in both, albeit not for the full 90 (or these days the full 100) in either. The worry is as last season our lack of goals and our home form. City need to quite simply - it’s basic really - start from the off with a positive attitude and not allow the opposition the initiative. Any idea of setting up at home to counter attack should be binned. Get on the front foot from the get go. The Sheff Wed game is pivotal. Totally crucial. People say you look at it after 10 games and to me that is apposite here - it’s a new manager, a new tranche of players who may well be added to shortly so I’m reserving my opinion until after the Boro game.
