Might’ve been the Kappa Kombat shirt being too small but Connolly against Norwich did look to be carrying more timber than Tufan ever did in a City shirt. Doesn’t look particularly fat now.

It was obvious to everyone at Norwich he was miles away, but fair play to him and the club, he's looking much much better and he'll keep getting better I'm sure

3 points away. You seldom have enough of those.

That's the side that finished level on points with 6th 4 games ago. 11vs 11 looked like that was us not them.

Sending off made them less open but their goal. Was entirely against the run of play. Manager took risks tactically to get us back in it but it worked.

All in all a good day at the office. Yes there are things still to work on - both being caught on the counter and ruthlessness when on top, but the grief Rosey got from some on here when they scored the only chance they'd created with 15 mins left is simply irrational.

Could you curtail the fat tubby bastard stuff. Disrespectful to the two players who have each put the ball in the back of the net three times over just two games.

That's the point.

Tufan got the stick last season from twats saying he couldn't last 90 minutes. Personally don't think his fitness was ever a major issue. He always put the work in and never looked out on his feet.

Highlights how poor we are at defending transitions. Our press is poor too.

They sat deep knowing we couldn’t break them down, and broke through us with relative ease the whole time they’re were down to 10.

That's certainly something that needs work - but sometimes you have to credit the way the oppo defended.

To be fair about our press, it's usually pretty decent and we did still win a lot of ball in their half.

I think it’s a personnel issue really, Tufan, Traore and Seri are near enough just bodies out of possession. We can’t get away with it for too long, it’s a blue print to beat us if we continue with this midfield and forward line

Sometimes your inner fan comes to the surface and all you want to do is run down to the touchline and shout 'Oi, Rosenior, we're 1 down against 10 men and we're dicking around at the back - ****ing sort it out or **** off'

Then you remember it's not the early 90's anymore and they probably know what they're doing.

That was today.

I'd expect us to go with proper wingers once the recruitment's done. Or at least one traditional type and one who cuts in and allows the fullback on the overlap.

Should have been there today, but couldn’t get the time off work.
Watched the majority of the game online, only woke up at 20 past, so probably the first 25 minutes I missed.
We looked the better side & I thought had more of the ball & the better chances.
It wasn’t until Ennis came on, that they looked any good. He really made a difference & should have scored just before our winner.
Connolly looks decent again, took the first goal really well, & ran onto the second with ease.
Twine looks useful too, some of his passes were good & dangerous. Shame we couldn’t take advantage of it.
