Didn’t notice that, that’s strange I wasn’t aware he’s injured as well, no reason he’d be omitted otherwise. Hope it’s not serious as forward numbers are now getting rather stretched.
I think Bell could do well central, I’m sure he was put left side as Conway secured the central role whilst Sam was out injured. he’s a natural finisher, one of the best at the club imo
Unable to make it today, been at work this morning . There is supposed to be something going on in the south stand with cards held above supporters heads before the kick off, if any of you are at BS3 could you post what’s it’s about, and whether a success please
The display was not well covered by Robins TV - a shame when you go to those lengths to try and look professional. We look as if we could be overpowered by Brum based on the first 20 minutes and they look very fast down both flanks. O'Leary's distribution is poor again and why does he insist in throwing the ball to a player in a hospital position and invariably we lose the ball? Cornick is wasteful.
I think it’s been quite a good entertaining game.. Vyner & Max’s distribution was poor at the start but settled since.. Brum are a big side. Cornick is frustrating, flashes of some decent movements but then final product lets him down.. not really and serious chances either end to bother the keepers. Apart from decent save from Max at end of first half.. Oh dear and now just conceded.. 1-0 down from corner We need to be more creative imo
Not a good time to concede. We’ve been pretty poor from what I’ve seen. If we change things around we can still win this . COYR
Well we look powder puff going forward-Brum by far the more dangerous going forward. Look a decent side us huffing and puffing with no end product first half. Need to up it second half if we want something out of this game. Carry on as we are and don’t see anything coming our way.
The inevitable happened just right on half-time with sloppy defending giving away an away goal. What the hell was Knight doing to allow the corner that led to the goal as it was going out if he hadn't decided to try and play the ball. We looked susceptible throughout the half and almost went behind after just 2 minutes as we were asleep but luckily the ball went just over the top of the bar. I am really struggling to see what Cornick brings to the squad as he gives away the ball way too many times to be considered as a regular first teamer, but that's just my opinion, and Mehmeti is not far below in my books. The speed of Birmingham is tearing us apart with wide balls opening us up like a can of worms and overall we look weak across the pitch and unless we sharpen our ideas the win at Millwall will be all for naught. Our home form has been weak for years and years and after giving away 2 points against Preston we may lose all 3 points in this one unless someone kicks arse in the dressing room during the break. The seeming weakness on the bench may hurt us, not just in this game, but down the line as more possible injuries and suspensions come into play and the lost points will add up in a negative manner. There is nothing on display that tells me the Bristol City of old has left the building and a new more powerful mantra has fallen across the club. Same old stuff.
Thankfully Cornick has been taken off. The commentators said that the sell-out crowd was pegged at 22,000+ but last week the same sell-out was 27,000 - who counts the crowd - perhaps the tea lady (oops person)
