Last night I stepped over the line on this site and I have to admit this morning I'm feeling fairly ashamed of myself. It's easy to get carried away now and again behind the anonymity afforded by sites such as this. That anonymity is a privilege that shouldn't be abused however. We should all try to say things on here that we would be very happy to say to a mate in the pub over a pint or two. Yesterday I went to far calling a fellow posters opinions invalid and turning what was a very good thread into just another slagging match for no reason. So no excuses from me. Sorry mate. Your opinions a far from invalid.
Cyprus you and I very rarely see eye to eye on the football or the manager in particular but we do share the passion and love of our club. That bonds us together forever kidda. The apology is not needed for me. I actually like verbally sparring with you mate. You're a very good debater (not a master one though lol) and I do value your opinions. Just get the bevvys in next time yet up? Lol
We all step over the line from time to time as nobody is perfect... However those of us that are man enough to apologise on a public forum proves that some of us are closer to perfection than others.
You know what Syd, if Bruce put his hands up and said look sorry lads & lasses but I know I've made a bit of a hash of things recently and the club deserves far better than I've been serving up since the turn of the year but I am focused on getting it right. Money isnt as free flowing as it could be but I've got good backing from Ellis and have been able to negotiate a few good deals to replace Bent and Gyan and I have plan of action to get it right from here on in. If he could just be honest for once and admit its not good at the club currently, then I'd probably have a helluva lot more sympahy and empathy with the bloke. Oh yes and do something about the worst derby day performances in living memory while you are on there Stevie baby. However, instead of that all we hear are ****ing ****e excuses all the time (never his fault mind) and that we should be grateful for where we are and not want better, and most of all he actually thinks the utter dross we have been watching for the last 30 odd games is actually very good really. It is these ramblings and bull**** comments that I can no longer stand to listen too and has led to my opposition of his regime. So yes Syd, sorry from Bruce may go along way, with me anyway.
