    He has a point <laugh>

So IF the legislation passes and becomes law, he's going to start smoking in his car. Brilliant! So not only does his passengers have to suffer breathing in his smoke but he also runs the risk of being fined.

Ever heard the expression cutting off your nose to spite your face?

No if his kids are in the car its still his choice to expose them to it or not, not my preference but he wouldn't be the first.

Would you like it if they banned Alcohol in your house hold? no because you own the ****ing thing you do as you please - I'm sure your just disagreeing with me for the crack now so I'll give in.

    MD

I was actually commenting on the poster who said he might start smoking in his car if the legislation was passed, despite the fact he doesn't do so at present. I was merely pointing out that it was an illogical thing to do. I dunno why you're getting in such a state about it.

Let me put it this way then, if the BMA decided they wanted to ban loud music/radios in cars for fear of people going deaf do you think that should really be there choice or not? if parents make bad choices then its there fault they where warned and if that doesn't work then whos really gonna enforce a ban on smoking in cars? the police? they'd have a ****ing tuff time i tell you especially at rush hour.

I'm in no state but you come across as disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing theres no point debating something when theres no will to debate it.

What the **** are you on about?

Let me repeat it again: I was merely commenting on the utter lack of logic by a poster saying he would start smoking in his car if the legislation was passed.

My point is if they don't like it they can **** off, and if its his kids then its still his choice at the end of the day.

What astounding logic you have. If he is a ****, then why not rape the kids too then? I mean they are in his house and they are his so it should be fine.

I'm a smoker. In ma hoose when I light up any non-smokers are asked politely to step outside. It's for their own health and well being.

So would removing all electronic gadgetry including sunroofs, stereos, climate control and windows.

Banning food and drinks in cars would obviously be safer too. And since you can be done for going into your car whilst under the influence of alcohol even when you have no intention of driving it, the very presence of food or drink in the car would be an automatic fine.

Then cars will be speed limited so you can't drive over the specified limit for that zone.

Then cars will not even need to be driven, they'll be fully automated.

Of course, we won't get to that stage in our lifetime. It'll be our kids and their kids who will have to suffer this nightmare. So the least we can do is to try and kill them before we get to that stage by shutting them in cars and smoking like troopers...

    This country is ****.
