Another nice article on BBC Sport about us.

Nothing exactly new and groundbreaking but always good to hear from Robert again. Legend.

All good, I really fancy us to turn one of the 3 over. Everyone is expecting us to get a hiding in the next three games but I don't see it, if we play anywhere near the level we played against Stoke we will give them a really tough game.

Good read that. I've no doubt we're at the start of something big. As much as I dislike Ashley and Llambias you can't deny, and I've been saying this for a while now, they share our dreams of silverware and European football. The only difference is that they're in it for the money.

We're on the right track, many clubs will start to follow in our footsteps, mark my words.

Let's just hope we've got a headstart on most of them and keep ourselves up there.

There was a good piece in the Daily Mail (yes, you read that right!) by Martin Samuel of all people:

What gets to me is that people keep referring to every game as our next "test". In reality, we are not competing for places with the teams we are facing in the next 3 games. It's like double standards from the pundits. They keep putting us down for a defeat week after week yet when we face a team that could possibly win the champions league it is a real examination of what we are made of. I suppose we should look at it as a compliment as to how far we have come but it just pisses me off. If we lose the next three, they will have us down for relegation candidates with our "bubble" having burst. The reality is, if we don't get a single point from the next 3 games we will still be comfortably in the Europa league spots. As long as we bounce back with confidence in tact we will just keep motoring away through the teams we are actually on a par with.

"Now, if they turn out to be not quite a match for Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea, that information is newsworthy.

Pardew won’t like it and he won’t get any points for it but, strangely, that’s progress. "

...thats quite well put actually. <applause>
