This can’t be true…the fact that they are “in discussions” is ridiculous. The discussion should have been “Erm, you’re not in Europe so piss off” This would open the floodgates and be the end of the European tournament.

That was the start of this whole thing for me, they realised how easy it was for them to wave some money and get what they want. If the PL held firm and rejected the new owners none of this would be happening.

The two clubs that were really pushing for him were Newcastle and Everton. Can understand why he decided against Newcastle after their takeover and where they’re heading. You’d need to be a mug to go to Everton, now.
