Tough game this. Was having a read of SW last night and a Plymouth fan on there said their strength was in transition against teams with a high line and balls through to quick forward On paper and judging on our performance v Norwich that seems like it might be the best way to beat us and we play into their hands completely. Draw wouldn't be a disaster here imo given how light we are in midfield. Charles simply has to start.
Shame the transfer bids might affect Adams involvement in the match. Without JWP or Smallbone I think we’re going to be a lot less tika taka than we were against Wednesday. Not much to go on, but I think Charles likes to get the ball forward early and Stuart Armstrong definitely does. could be another end to end match - put this one on your both teams to score accumulator
I'd imagine Charles is comfortable with the tika taka coming from City. Not seen much apart from the Wed game mind. Will need Stu for our own transitions if it's going to be a ding dong game, as he carries the ball so well.
Had a dream last night where we were 3-0 up in the first half and held on for 4-2. The below line up is critical as it was a sign Baz Kwp stephens bednarek manning Charles Aribo Tella alcaraz Edozie Tal Paul Charles to tackle. Aribo to calmly collect the ball and slowly pick out a winger Pirlo esque. Edozie to channel neymar, run onto a through ball, bamboozle a defender only to smartly send in a high cross. Where tall Paul emphatically ducks to head the ball into the net. This is clearly a sign and a bet has now been placed.
We carried on playing JWP and Lavia until it was clear they were off. A lot of it will be down to the player. Adams strikes me as a hard working pro, I think he will be involved unless the transfer is almost complete.
