Going to watch The Favourite tonight been wanting to watch for a while, Mrs luv and her Mam going to give it a go, FIL will watch the football..
The Favourite 7.8/10 I'm a fan of this director and enjoyed this but not as much as Killing of a Sacred Deer or The Lobster. Emma Stone and Olivia Coleman are superb though.
Squaring the circle: the story of Hipgnosis Excellent documentary about the guys behind the most iconic music art of the late 60s and 70s. Back when album covers were a thing. A must watch for music fans of a certain vintage. 8/10
defund the platforms…..quality over quantity I was always told…..lots of **** on prime Netflix blah blah……apart from true romance and the warriors being mentioned I’ve not heard one film that’s worth my while wasting my time on and to think some are spending over a hundred a month for it is fking stuff crazy
i'll look out for that . somewhere in the house i have a copy of this book please log in to view this image
I work 6 days a week and own my own business. Although tbf I only work a Saturday in that business. I'm not angry with you what so ever. You're the one who posted a massive rant about how you're not happy with recent movie output. I just pointed out this may not be the thread for you. And the fact that you're a tedious Taff fùckpig. But, tbf, you've always been that.
Did a late night viewing via IPTV (free on Prime if you have it) In the Heat of the Night. Haven't seen it since God knows when. Superb film, great script and stellar performances from Poitier and Steiger. Doesn't get much better 9/10 Love this bit from the film. Poitier "Just give me one more day, maybe two I can pull that fat cat down. I can bring him right off this hill!" Steiger "Oh boy. Man, you're just like the rest of us. Ain't ya?" Killer line. Poitier floored the only time in the whole film.
Watched Extraction I and II over last couple of nights ... I much better than II ... neither more than a 6.5 / 10 ...
