Free parking from 6pm, 15 min walk back to city centre for a couple of pints, 2 mile walk to stadium, 3 pts and golf on Saturday. That's the plan anyway
Definitely read it as 3 more pints but on reflection wouldn't mind the points as well. Now if I had to choose ??? well it is a Friday.
Realism 101 We were ****e & Birmingham were ****e. Only a bit of bad luck in the last minute cost us a point. It was even-steven up until then. We are still ****e, but so are the Baggies. My mate is a lifelong fan, but has point-blank refused to see them for the last 3.5 years & refuses to go back until they find some money to invest. Down to bare bones, apparently, & if it wasn't for Coberan, they'd be toast every game, whereas with him, it's just most of the time. I'm seeing a 0-0 draw, as at the moment, neither team could score in a brothel. Cue a 6-5 game, last goal's the winner .....
We'll be better than last week at Brum. 1) Full week on the training ground. 2) Rutter, Greenwood and Rodon (expecting Rutter to start). 3) No last minute drop outs from the wantaways. 4) We're at home. Close game but we can definitely sneak the win.
South Stand due a goal (7-0 to the gelderd so far) and Leeds due the 1st, so 1-0 half time. WBA equalise 60th minute, Leeds winner in the 80th. Note: Timings are approximate
We battered Cardiff after going 2-0 down so maybe that's the key. Seriously though it would be nice for the lads to get a lead and then see how they can handle it.
We may have battered them in the second half, but that's simply not good enough. It's a game of two halves (pun intended)
Funny post mate , had me laughing about the bad language at the TV ha ha , let's hope we get more than the usual 1 shot on target , hoping in training the trainer took leeds players on a tour round the training pitch to show them what the goal posts look like and that bit in between them where the ball is supposed to go. , it's also called shots on target when you do that you have got a chance of scoring.
I wonder just how many players have been in the Leeds squad since (say) we hit L1 in 2007? I know I’m old (still got me own teeth though) but I can’t remember half of them nowadays. It was easy in the 60’s, 11 to remember and 2-3 extra for when (usually) Eddie Gray got injured.
It’s not even worth building up any affinity with any of the players, nobody stays. I wonder how many transfer windows before Archie is gone? One, two or three
Can't answer the squad question but since the start of the 2007/08 season in League One, a total of 240 players have made a first team appearance in which ever league we played (have not counted cup games, or games this season) over a period of 16 seasons. Average number of players making an appearance per season is 30. The highest number of players making an appearance was the first season in League 1, with a total of 35. The next highest is 34, in the 2014/15 season in the Championship, which was Cellinos first full season as owner, when we had Hockaday etc as head coach. The lowest number of players used was our first season in the Premier League, when 23 made a league appearance. Second lowest was 24, when Rossler was head coach in the 2015/16 season, so Cellino's second full season in control, and the third lowest was 25 for the season that Monk was in charge. 28 players is the fourth lowest of players making an appearance, this occurring 3 times, being our second season in League 1, and the first two seasons with Bielsa in charge in the Championship.
