It was a friendly and we were nonleague, in the Norfolk and Suffolk league, so no. Not Worthy of Hamilton. I did say you need to be an anorak.
Yes, it was Rioch., and to put people out of their misery, they played Harwich and Parkstone in their first ever game. Of course, you all knew that but didn't want to show off.
Three questions about our 1971/72 season. 1:- Who was top scorer with just 13 goals. 2:- Who made his City debut wearing #9 shirt in the 1-1 draw at Sunderland on 9th Oct 1971.And 3:- Which club did City sign Jimmy Bone from in Feb. 1972. A bit easier today.
I'm out of my depth with these questions, although in fairness I struggle with some of the EDP quizzes too
Correctomundo Bure. I will stop these questions, as you say they are ridiculously hard, and those three were the easier in that section.
All about 71/72 season. (There are 30 rounds, each with eleven questions). Hard:- which team beat City 4-0 on March 4th 1972. Which player came on as sub 12 times this season and scored three goals. City went up as champions, who came 2nd. ( not a City q, but in the book). Which three players played in all 42 league games that season.
As a side note does any one remember Bob heifer who player for Norwich, the commentary used to go bob hoofs it up the field. He was my dad's neighbour died about 10 years ago aged 75ish, can't find anything on the net, although apparently Norwich held a silence for him
