The interesting thing about Alemany is his greatest achievement at Barca during his two years there was more to do with outgoings than incomings, as he swung the axe last summer and got Coutinho, Depay, Aubameyang, Bellarin and Pjanic off the wage bill (and also shifted Lenglet's wages our way...) that got them through the financial meltdown they were stuck in while also creating the nucleus of a new team, even though there is the whiff of the wheeler dealer about him given the likes of Depay, Aubameyang and Kessie were in and out after a season while Bellarin was out within six months of joining The thing is, since he has a talent for moving players out and getting good deals for them, my mind can't help but wander to how Juve were set up with Paratici as the guy to bring players in while Beppe Marotta was the guy to move them out
Sad and ignominious that his last game for the club was that horror show on Tyneside. Not how he deserves to end his career here.
There were a few whispers about Jonathan David last week IIRC, while Dusan Vlahovic bubbles up every other week
Djed Spence is being linked with loans to Palace and Southampton, although reportedly prefers Palace as he wants PL football At this point he just looks like a discount for either Brennan Johnson or Eberechi Eze
Exodus Watch - Gianluca Di Marzio and Gianluigi Longari both claim that Inter are considering a bid for Tanganga - L'Equipe claim that Monaco are looking to sign Davinson Sanchez Adarabioyo Watch ...and in the same article L'Equipe claim that Monaco have switched their attention away from Toisin Adarabioyo, which may put him back in play for our CB depth
Sounds like Olise may have signed a new deal with Palace which could potentially help with any move for Eze as rumours were Palace were gonna up Eze's asking price if they also lost Olise.
Chelsea Chronicle is reporting that Spurs have formally approached us to enquire about Lukaku. Juventus site is reporting it as well, as we have let Juve know we have received interest from another club. (Probably in an attempt to jack up the price)
I thought this one had done the rounds already and been debunked? Not one I’d want to get done myself. Though I’m sure Chelsea just want him gone.
Yeah trolling aside, as much as I would love him to go, I dont see it as being a good move for Spurs. The guy is past his peak, bi polar as ****, disruptive to the squad, and would want 200k a week. There are better options for you out there. Maybe Spurs have just enquired in case all your other deals fall to ****, like a last resort type thing.
Ironically the Palace player who we'd never go for, if Dan KP's comment from last year about us not signing unvaccinated players is still relevant, may have done us a favour
Matteo Moretto says Real Sociedad are close to agreeing personal terms with Reggie, and are hoping for a loan with an option to buy
Miguel Delaney is linking us with Jeremy Doku Hopefully we make a mockery of the Mansourites assuming he'll join them...
https://x.com/teamnewsandtix/status/1692192013251182833?s=46&t=IS6F8i2fsfZuty9C8Z27Dw You can have him for £100m+ . (Just FYI - this guy is usually reliable when it comes to Arsenal related news hence why the tweet has blown up).
Paul O'Queef has dismissed the link as "Nonsense" Luckily we haven't spent the entire summer seeing O'Queef exposed as a Spurs Community ITK with a Twitter account...
So apparently Levy is holding out for a fee for Hugo, when he should just give him a free transfer, he has deserved it after 10 years service.
