So who’s this game changing target then?

It’s believed to be a midfielder.

On yesterday’s display he can’t come quick enough and bring with him a striker. Ugbo may have 2 in 2 - ok he was in the right place to tap in but he brings very little to the game over the 90+ minutes.

City won’t be judged on the Leicester game which is a free hit for City, but on the SW game. The pressure will be huge on City that day - they’re so passive at home and just don’t know how to put the burners on from the kick off.

Away teams are given such a free ride at CCS; Bulut has to sort that out before the next home game after Sheff Wed as lightning can’t strike 3 times against swansea by gifting them early goals again.
I'm equally intrigued. That said, it wouldn't take much for someone to be a game changer for us at the moment.. It's probably just a lot if hot air.

I did say a keeper was amongst the most important. While we still need a gk. Alnwick at the moment is the least of our worries.

CH to play alongside McGuinness

CM

Striker who can hold the ball.

Thats a minimum to have any chance of staying up.

All need to go straight in the starting 11.

Ojo loaned out to the Belgium club as well.

That's 1 of my 5 candidates gone. Same club as Isaak Davies. VT connection?

Doesn't anyone want Benjamin or Campbell?

I read yesterday that Campbell is on £11.9k per week. Wtf???

Ojo on £9.2k pw.

Looks like we are a soft touch on wages for below average (some not even that good) players.

Looks like Tom Davies is going to Sheffield United who are not keen on paying Forest up to £10m for Lewis O'brien.

Might open the door for us to get O'Brien on loan as he is considered surplus at Forest. They want a sale but won't loan to Prem rivals.

As luck would have it we do not own the club so we are not paying the wages. Collins is back from a long injury and did well when he came on against QPR but how Benjamin jumped in front of better young players sent on loan I have no idea.

Why do you persist in stating the obvious about ownership of the club when someone on here mentions the money involved in running it?

We know full well that we're indebted to Tan and he pays the bills, but that shouldn't prevent posters discussing the financial aspects on the forum.

Out of interest, what other income streams does the club have?
Slightly off topic for this thread but the answer might make it clear that the fans do have a financial stake in the club and relative to their own income, probably a bigger stake than the owner. Of course when you add in the historic understanding and love for the club, the fans stake is enormous.

He clearly has little understanding Sparks.

I explained to him a couple of weeks ago that "we" refers to the club. Players, owner, management, employees and fans. Fans pay for season tickets, on the day tickets, programmes, merchandising, hospitality etc. All of that goes into the pot which contributes to players' wages with VT also putting in a sizeable chunk. Perhaps economics, like football, is not a strong point for him?

As for his comment on who we have loaned out, Benjamin is a centre back, those loaned are mostly forwards or midfielders. The exceptions being Denham and Bagan - a full back.

Benjamin is Under 21 captain so perhaps the management see value in that although he did himself no favours in playing up v Colchester.

Once we sign a new centre back I expect Benjamin to go out on loan to get game time in senior football.

I had high hopes for Goustas and Ugbo to score and keep clean sheets, one of these players needs to step his game up a lot. The two goalies we have are not at fault when defenders allow strikers to stand alone in our penalty area. We have no defensive midfield so we may as well go with Ramsey and Colwill to provide some service to our forwards. Bulut has placed himself in a really bad position as another loss leaves us with 1 point from 3 games, to stand and watch the QPR game for 60 minutes before making changes shows a lack of control. I watched the doc about Burnley last nigh and was suprised after winning their first game they went on a run of draws and a loss leaving them 15th. At least we have 44 games left not 2.

Not the greatest of write ups. Only played 168 games in a 10 year career. However if he does as well as our last Icelandic signing he will be a good acquisition.

I assume Allsop is going, as rumoured last week.

Yep. I reckon Allsop is on his way.

No sign of the game changer yet then.

Not sure about Bulut's maths.
I could have sworn we had Alnwick, Allsop and Luthra on our books.<confused>

We are looking because we have only two [goalkeepers] and we need three. There are others too we are looking at."
