Just out of curiosity, would you think it was acceptable to use the words ‘black trash’ when referring to black people?
**** me, the Premier League assurances that they were nothing to do with the Saudi State was a load of bullshit and everyone knew it but they haven't even tried to hide it. If only the Premier league had some balls to do something about it, I mean they were legally binding assurances weren't they? or even the football media raise pressure for it to be dealt with or at least answered by the Premier league, instead they will all be fawning over them being top 6 and finally being where their great support deserves etc...
This is all anyone needs to know about PIF The problem is that the UK Govt leant on the PL to allow the takeover and now the PL are powerless to stop these dodgy sponsorship deals and inflated transfer fees when PIF buys a player from PIF https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...er-league-to-approve-saudi-newcastle-takeover
Sports washing at its worst. I’m sure they handpicked Newcastle as they are probably the only fans in Britain who would accept these murdering torturing discriminators as owners.
Are there actually people who spend their whole life being offended on behalf of others. Seems so, weird to have nothing else in your life to do.
Seems like there’s quite a few on here these days, also people who like to say the same **** about the same subject over and over and over.
To be fair to the Saudis they took one look at the Newcastle fans post takeover me thought, “You know what? Why don’t we just take all the good players over to us and see them week in, week out in the flesh? “ I wouldn’t be surprised that the team they want to represent Saudi in the Champions League would be an MK Dons style franchise based in Saudi and Newcastle end up playing all or part of their games over there. They’re already a feeder club with St Maxim.
I think you're right, no major trophy since 1955, and six in a row, made them an easy target. Saudi crown prince invited to visit UK, government source says By Ione Wells & Frank Gardner BBC News 17 August 2023, 08:37 BST Updated 10 minutes ago 'Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been invited to visit the UK, a government source has said. No 10 said they would confirm the prime minister's engagements in the usual way, with nothing in the diary yet. But a separate government source said there was no reason to think the visit would not happen. It would be the first visit since the murder of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018.'
