I was wrong, we might be missing a winger for a while. Hopefully Sainz isn't far away.

Didn't realise selling players for millions made us better on the pitch.

Also ignores that Rowe, Springett, Idah, Omobamidele are all from our academy, and Fisher was making his debut having moved up from non-league.

Dare I say it, there's more end product from Placheta in that 5 min highlight package than we've seen from Onel all season?

Seen a couple of somewhat positive reviews of Placheta's performance post-match, good for him if together with Wagner they can reinvent him as a LB.

The fact that Onel has not scored at Carrow Road for four years says it all to me. On loan for one of those years, but still a terrible fact. Jonathan Rowe really needs to work on his knee slide. Also, the first three goals of a career, all scored in time added on, must be a unique feat. In fact I doubt any player has ever done so twice.

On the Pinkun text coverage of play Connor Southwell thought Placheta was our best player who started the game. When McCallum came on Placheta moved up to WL and also played well there. I seem to recall that when he was signed many Polish sources thought that LB was his best position. His pace is a big advantage for a LB in Wagner's tactics allows him to cover against counter attacks during set pieces, much like Jamal Lewis did under Farke.

I was just going to echo the view of the posters above, having only watched the highlights from the game, Placheta seemed to be really positive and caused the most danger down the left. I think the new system suits him more, he wasn't encourage to cross the ball when Pukki was up top, he is better played as a more traditional style winger

Likely due to QPR having just renewed their Desso pitch, which is a particular hybrid natural grass and polyester fibre mix. If JR wants to perfect his technique, he needs to research the make up of the opposition's pitch before the game and adjust his slide accordingly <laugh>
