Only made 1 or 2 senior appearances so I doubt it would be a loan if true.

 

It says he's a DM which is odd as I was told we don't use them under Wagner.

A Brazilian DM is probably well suited to playing McLean's role.

 

I’ve seen it reported that he’s plays DM, CM and AM.

This suggests Pedro Lima signed on loan, no option to buy.

Left-footed CM, with some DM experience. He's only 20 yo, and with few senior appearances. Is he being signed for the U21s?

 

Galatasary have agreed a deal with Chelsea for Blues' winger Hakim Ziyech. This fits with Rashica joining Besiktas; it also shows that Galatasaray are not short of money, which tells us something about the value they put on Rashica.

 

As Robbie asked, apparently a development signing. But on loan, and having signed a new contract? Feels very odd. Is this the club trying to maximise his value, hoping his spell in England sparks a bidding war?

I think Rick has it right, Long will essentially be third choice and it allows us to run without a senior second choice GK, whilst the youngsters get experience on loan. If Gunn is unavailable we can reassess. Clearly McCracken can be readily recalled, for example.

 

According to Turkish sources:

"Besiktas on Wednesday said they signed Kosovar attacker Milot Rashica from English club Norwich City on a four-year contract. The transfer fee paid to the English club was €5.25 million."

Doesn't say whether any add ons are included, but that doesn't match the club's claim that the total costs of signing him have been recouped, though there should have been a loan fee for last year. Personally, I'm glad to see him gone.

"Norwich City have recalled goalkeeper Jon McCracken from his loan spell with Scottish Premiership club Dundee. The 23-year-old made four appearances for the Dee, three in the Viaplay Cup and one in the Scottish Premier League. He has now returned to Norfolk to re-join the first-team squad and recently appointed goalkeeping coach Paul Clements. McCracken will be part of the matchday squad for this evening's Carabao Cup first round clash with QPR."

 

Was it ever officially released how much we spent on him or just the rumoured fees around £9-10m? That figure could have been heavily based on add ons like PL survival
