QPR host Norwich City in the Carabao Cup

The R’s go into this one on the back of a huge win at Cardiff City last time out. Sinclair Armstrong fired the R’s to victory following their 4-0 defeat at Watford on the opening day of the season, with this being the club’s first home game of the campaign.

Norwich meanwhile won at home to Hull City in their opening game of the season, before drawing 4-4 with Southampton at St Mary’s over the weekend.

Hoping we see a good amount of rotation for this game, if we want to play with intensity every week we need to take the opportunity to rest some players, and keep the rest of the squad fit. I'd like to see something like:

    Gunn
    Fisher Duffy Warner McCallum
    Gibbs McLean
    Fassnacht Nunez Hernandez
    Idah

LB might be an interesting decision, curious if the Placheta experiment continues, given McCallum has been linked with a move away.
Springett, Fisher potentially involved off the bench? Presuming Omobamidele is still being wrapped in cotton wool until the deadline.

There looks to be streams available, though a 2.45am KO will see me likely missing it.

McCracken has been recalled, so potentially him starting in goal?
Option of Placheta at LB with McCallum at RB? Tomkinson at CB instead of Duffy?

Expect us to go through something like 2-3

Tomkinson is injured so I’d like to see Warner given a chance and Fisher at RB

Serious rotation! Show of confidence in Fisher (or trying to see what we have), Placheta over McCallum is interesting, and Omobamidele not wrapped in cotton wool.

Suprised I see Duffy and McLean start, thought we would be doing our best to protect then

Mildly amusing that the club appear to have got Gibbs' number wrong in the lineup announcement.

The Duffy + O'Dele combo could make for some bad mistakes. Just my opinion.
