FFP is a complete farce and one principally aimed at keeping the tradionally biggest clubs at the top of the footballing pyramid by linking spending on players to commercial revenue streams ... the aim (excuse) was, supposedly, to guard against clubs overspending and going bust whilst, rather bizarrely, ignoring the actual wealth of club owners completely ... Citeh, Newcastle and any Arab owned clubs ain't gonna go bust ... neither will we whilst owned by King Power ... all that's really needed at the top level is a guarantee from current owners to satisfy all outstanding debt not covered by future sale proceeds ... for lower league teams there needs to be more safeguards, I'll admit ...
