Just to inform all- JA has been placed on a 7day ban, and if found to once again break the rules upon his return, then it will be made permanent. Sorry to ban any member, but we agreed the rules were broken(again), and despite doing our best to help him, it just wasn't working.
Tis a shame and I don't like to see it, but he has been warned plenty of times. Does seem it's for the greater good. I'm worried about a 'High Plains Drifter' style ending though...
There is a god afterall...!! You have absolutely nothing to be sorry about Super. It's abundantly clear to all fellow Not606ers, that both you and AllHell have moved heaven and earth to accommodate him. Yet each and every time he sticks two fingers up and throws it back in your faces. I for one wish I had half the patience you pair obvioussly possess. You can/could do no more imho...!! As the old saying goes... "give someone enough rope and they will hang them self"... This is Ackworth to a tee...!! Chin up mate
Strangely enough his book wasn't in the Charlton shop today. I had to make do with Lennie's book, now reduced to a fiver in hardback, now that he's defected.
I genuinely feel for him - i feel his heart is CAFC, but he obviously has a social problem, and maybe this forum allows him to express his views in the way that he wants to. I sincerely hope he learns and comes back a more 'normal' poster - and not the incessant dross that he has bombarded us all with. Somehow, sadly, i doubt it- but lets hope so, even if only for his sake.
It was a decision that NEITHER of us wanted to make but there are only so many times somebody can say sorry and just do the same thing again a few days later. I'm sorry Jon but it is up to you now, if you do the same things on your return then the ban WILL be final.
AH is the one with the patience- as soon as he said something about Stephens that was it! Let it be a lesson to all . But being serious- its never nice to ban someone.. Especially seeming he is a CAFC fan. The problem is there were moments where he proved he could abide by rules, but would then go and create two non relevant threads a few days later. So this showed he took on board the rules, but then chose to ignore them. I have no doubt he's a good person and I know he is a cafc fan- but until he can learn to play by our rules, he will have to sit out.
He must surely have broken the record for the amount of CAFC forums that he has been banned from, I think we all know from his previous history that he will never be able to abide by the rules. Therefore it is inevitable his will be banned once again. Same old Achworth I'm afraid. Many have tried to help myself included but alas no change.
I agree with the actions you are taking and would like to see the ban made permanent. You can't selectively ignore rules as and when you choose and if it had been a poster from another team they would long be gone. In this case the rules were being deliberately flouted, the poster set up his own thread for the purpose of posting all his articles then decides not to bother keeping to it.
