They've also managed to recoup a fair amount in player sales - somehow.
So their net spend isn't actually as bad as you might think. And their revenue stream is much higher than ours, even without CL this season.
Hoping they have made some mistakes financially, but there is a chance they are still within FFP.

Oh, yeah - £900m divided by 5 years (amoritisation) is about £180m, player sales is about, what, £140m or so? So net spend on FFP terms is about £40m. Yeah, makes sense.

Well, in terms of it being an utterly toxic, bullshit, elitist system.

Why not just buy him outright now?

Agree. It's a virtually pointless rule in terms of helping to regulate clubs, or more the point keeping them from going into too much debt.

Because the loan then buy would mean it comes off our allowance of FFP for next year and we can try and benefit from improved league position and/or champions league progression before having to pay for him. Given the need we have to increase our income in order to allow greater spending the more we can kick payments down the road the better it is for us.

Plus this way Arsenal have less money to play with for now. I'm not convinced they're going to be top 2-3 this year and could easily be direct competition for top 5.

I think only if it's an obligation to buy (so definitely going to happen); if it's an option to buy then it doesn't count until it happens. I think...

He’s a very good player. Keep him fit and he is a massive upgrade on Burn.

They are going to bend us over and insert their sizeable phallus into our sphincter, possibly repeatedly. I just hope that once they've shot their load into our colon we're able to wipe ourselves down and run properly to put in a winning performance against Liverpool.

    Neymar signs for Saudi.

He says it’s not about money.

    £140m (180 euros) a year.

    Ofc it’s not about money.

This saudi bubble will burst in the next 2 years.

They don’t have the global following.
