Chatting to my accountant this morning, who’s an avid Wednesday fan and seems to be ITK there. Apparently they have ten players lined up, to come in supposedly today. They are going to have huge issues with FFP as are maxed out, so going to have to offload a similar number very quickly. Those coming in are mainly foreign and young, replacing older players (seems they had the oldest squad in League One last season). So looking at changing the way they play, etc. he says they are in total disarray.
Oh and apparently they are using Josh Windass as the interpreter in a lot of these negotiations as he’s the only one who can speak Spanish!!!
I challenged his story on the basis that I couldn’t believe Deano’s son could be bilingual. I never noticed the bigger flaw you pointed out in his story! Maybe I just want to believe his stories, because some are so far fetched.
