We both said that at the same time lol.

You ain't the biggest club in the world anymore Fergie, you're just a "wee club" from Manc. More bitter than a truckload of lemons.

We ain't hated in the way Chelsea are/were.

We play great football and have exciting players, in the same way City are great to watch, as opposed to tedious dross Chelsea and Manure play.

That's only to do with the owners. Chelsea have always been hated cos of Abramovich, City have always been hated for buying the league, and Man U and Liverpool have always been hated for their sense of entitlement and arrogance.

In terms of pure football, we're one of the best on the league to watch.

Totally. He is rattled. He could just say both teams played well and the scoreline was perhaps flattering. But to say Villa played us off the pitch but just couldn't score is a joke (when they lost 5-1 and we could easily have had 3 more ourselves). Must be sad living in such a bitter state.

People got over Chelsea and City ages ago... nufc are now detested. I actually embrace it because they're going to be dismantled over time.

They'll laugh and get a few digs in throughout but in the end they will retreat and I will perve over it.

The media love to stir it too, fuelled by the 'big 6'. NUFC getting singled out for all the 'timewasting' & 'dark arts' etc. that literally every team does when it suits them. Any excuse to build general public resentment towards us, as we are breaking up their little elite gang.

Exactly because the mass majority of the media and pundits don't support Newcastle so its natural for them to not like the threat .

Let's enjoy it..... they'll have a few wins and sly digs over the coming years , but eventually they're going to be completely defeated.

    as you say
as soon as Newcastle gain a tactic or one up on the 6 that they themselves have been using for years
they bring a law out to stop us, Owners, advertising and now game time and blatant misuse of VAR

And now the technical box. Which other clubs typically have 2 at once on a regular basis? Funny how it just came in this season. Let them cry.

    From BBC:

Three Premier League officials at the centre of a decision not to award a penalty to Wolves at Manchester United have been overlooked for this weekend's matches.

Wolves were denied a late penalty on Monday when United keeper Andre Onana crashed into Sasa Kalajdzic and failed to make contact with the ball.

United won 1-0 at Old Trafford.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil said elite referees manager Jon Moss told him he "could not believe" the error.

It is also understood referees' chief Howard Webb, who is head of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), also contacted Wolves officials after the match to apologise.

Referee Simon Hooper, video assistant referee (VAR) Michael Salisbury and assistant VAR Richard West are regarded as "not selected" rather than "dropped" as the weekend appointments had not been made prior to Monday's game.

However, the move is a direct result of the collective failure to award the injury-time penalty and is part of Webb's demand for enhanced accountability for mistakes.
