Three new caps for Wales and possibly a couple more coming off the bench. So interesting to see how they go but you can't read too much into these warm up games
Well we all know that but we still really, really want to beat England A win could be huge for confidence with the WC so close as well.
Scotland 25 - 21 France. France great first half, looked all over at half time. Second half Scots came out on fire and France were not in the second half at all. Plus the Jocks had a red card early in the second! Great comeback.
I enjoyed that second half. First was all England and let's not get too carried away here, they had 20 handling errors. Two in that first half right on our line. But a great response second half and I would have given that LRZ try, the TMO said yes then immediately changed her mind when the ref said otherwise. I would look forward to the return next week but I'll be at a bloody wedding If only they took advice from their elders, they wouldn't bother
I watched the game last night. I said to the Wife - only Wales could have lost that game from 8 points up and a three man advantage. Incredible. It would appear Wales (and England) are way behind Scotland at the moment.
I know it was a completely different team from last week but to lose from that position The number of dropped balls alone was frightening. So yes, this had probably helped Gatland pick the squad, albeit in a negative way. Gutted for Lake having to go off so early as well. Oh, and poor Farrell He's had that coming a long time.
Farrell has never learned and it seems has only ever given lip service to being sorry…. The panel should make an example of him given his track record and the number of previous lenient sentences he has been given: if they are really trying to protect players and avoid concussions etc, in my opinion, they need to throw the book at him
Richard Smith KC the England Rugby legal advisor watching last Saturday's match. I guess he is thinking when he saw the Farrell incident - "this looks like a nice little earner"
Seems like a good appointment. I heard of her when was at Serco and she now seems to have sorted the Passport Office out
"Tierney currently holds the role of Ethics Advisor at the Home Office..." Oh dear, she's useless then Let's hope this is not solely based on her being female It couldn't get much worse at the WRU anyway!
