are you sure? I thought I remember reading that she couldn’t talk after the assault due to a broken jaw.
The court heard that the victim was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital and an examination revealed swelling and bruising to the left side of her face. A CT scan revealed multiple mid-facial bone fractures. In a victim impact statement, the woman said she makes regular trips to the doctors following the attack. She said: "My jaw was broken in multiple places. "I can't eat on the left hand side of my mouth. I have problems with my teeth. "I can no longer smell properly and have been on various different medications by my general practitioner to treat various ongoing issues. I've been a regular visitor to my GP since the assault. I have nerve damage to my face on the last hand side and my taste buds are damaged." https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/new...-maddison-newcastle-united-sentenced-27479130 He got off lightly under the circumstances.

If you want to know how disgusting and biased VAR is... 95 minutes Manures goalkeeper pole axes Wolves CB in the 6 yard box. The commentator quite rightly says, anywhere else on the pitch thats at least a foul... what was VAR decision...? Wolves should have won easily BTW
Goalkeepers in general are given far too much protection and leeway in those situations. If an outfield player jumps and challenges the keeper for the ball in the box whilst it’s in the air and the keeper goes down, it’s a foul on the keeper. If a keeper attempts to claim a ball in the air in his own box, he’s given the benefit of the doubt and entitled to clatter someone.
in the after match interview, Bruno Fernandes said 3 times getting the three points was the most important thing so the Sky commentator then asked ' was getting the 3 points the most important thing' - I pay for this ****
The big team bias shown by the referee and VAR in the Man U vs Wolves game tonight is why the championship is better to watch than premier League. Championship refs can make poor decisions but on the whole they just get it wrong, rather than the malevolent sycophancy in premier league refereeing decisions.
