Comrade Can't wait until I'm old, knackered and retired so that I don't have to be this ****ing bizzee
Then you can go around saying to everybody " I dont know how I found time to go to work!" just like me and Cym do!
Thanks mate, there a great bunch of lads & it made his day But Kerry Dixon the piss taker gave him a big cuddle and shouts out cheese Had a couple of beers with Chopper and chewed over some early days, always a gent is our Ron.
When i was at Blackpool last season,at the end of the game Eboue came over and gave his boots to a young lad in a wheelchair. He was chuffed to **** I'm obviously far too young to remember any of the players in the photo
I love it when players do something so simple as spend time with people less fortunate than ourselves, it means so much to them and strengthens the bond of the club and supporters. God bless them all who give so readily.
The media conveniently forget to mention the amount of work footballers and ex players do for charities and the communities the teams play in
I make you spot on there Ginge! It is something I take seriously as well and I wonder if our knockers ever stand back and consider the work they do! There are occasionally certain things they show on CTV about the club/individual players support for deserving causes, but in truth none of us ever broadcast what we do for them.It just isnt done and I'm sure the players feel content in the knowledge, that they can sleep easy at night, knowing only they know what they have given! As you say, God bless them!
Cym--Did you know you can have effective treatment for wolling your ars these days? I think you might be able to get it on the NHS! Remember where you first heard it!
