No Fraser, Campbell, Leaburn or Chuks so goals will be hard to come by unless the midfield steps up. We'll be reliant on CB-T to create something, but he played 90 minutes on Saturday so is unlikely to be risked for 90 so soon. I hope Edun plays and it would be nice if the opposition gifted us a goal for a change. With Holden seemingly unwilling to trust Kanu for more than a brief cameo it's possible Casey might come into the reckoning for a place on the bench.
Likewise. But there’s no way we will keep a clean sheet. Rovers have drawn with Pompey and Barnsley and tomorrow evening will get their first win of the season.
I always hope for a win at home, though between injuries and an incomplete squad rebuild, we are definately short of some important players. If we can avoid the sort of mistakes we served up on saturday it would be a big help. Bristol R have had some good results so far this season, so it certainly won't be easy, but I refuse to go into a home match hoping for a draw just yet. 1-0 Charlton PS thanks for doing this @The Penguin !! After a good start, my match threads were nothing but bad luck so hopefully you can bring in a bit of a change!
Luck perhaps - not a miracle May the Lord smite my ruin (or give us a 2-0 win) if I have offended him/her/themself
Thought we looked okay to be honest. There was a CBT shot when I thought he really should have passed. It did worry me the number of lunging tackles we are making. No cards for us yet, but if some of those had connected we'd start accumulating. Good to see Curbscsuggest we might bring on Kirk. I think he gets much too much stick elsewhere, but he really isn't the answer to any question I can think of.
A real sickener. 6 points off the top after 3 games. If May had scored when he went for power and hit the post we're looking at a different story, but it was pretty desperate stuff after that.
