More rumours Willock to Boro for 1.5 million. Anyone heard anything more concrete...than twittersphere
Think it’s most likely crap and honestly think he’s holding out to move on a free. He can speak to foreign clubs from Jan. Boro will have a few quid coming in but they’ve lost some of their better players and it’s not exactly an enticing prospect as a place to live.
We still have one in Ashford (Kent). It takes me back to visiting the one on King st. Hammersmith when I was a lot younger.
One of my memories was when I took a pound note out of the housekeeping tin around 1972- so me and my brother could go to the Wimpy in Baker St London with a school friend whose parents were loaded, trying to keep up with the Jonesy's got me a thick ear. Please stop mentioning Wimpys it's very traumatic
I do remember their Knickerbocker Glory and Brown Derby? Never worried about the calories back then 1970s menu:
I've heard that Willock is going to Boro for two million. I'll take that, snowflake waster always injured.
To be honest he seems to have lost his way and his mojo with us. Best if he makes way for someone who wants to be here and play that creative role. Take what we can and move on. With his brother in Newcastle. Buddy in Seny. He’s probably comfortable with the move. Shame he couldn’t have made it to the heady heights we were expecting.
Sounds like clickbait. He signed an extension earlier this year and Carrick seems to like him as a team player and leader. Scores a few useful goals too. Sounds just like someone we could do with.
that’s so harsh. At his best Willock is totally unplayable in the Championship. Something has gone wrong and I think it’s deeper than the injuries. He is by far our best player since Eze left and yet isn’t worth more than a few minutes here and there in Ainsworth’s eyes.
Best for all concerned. Something went wrong for us. Shame as he looked like a stand out performer at this level and thought we would end up cashing in big time on him like Eze.
Isn't he the lad they sent on loan to Exeter his dad's old club and Exeter gave him his dad's shirt number even though they had retired it after his unexpected death..... it was all very emotional but they lad did well for them and looks to have bags of potential.....
