It was the complete package Donor or Shish perfectly cooked great homemade chilli sauce, very hot, and a good amount of fresh salad with red & cabbage and raw onion mix, in a large pita and always satisfyingly enough. I hope that answers your question Yorkshire. I actually ate in that restaurant over 100 times and everything was tasty. Have no Idea how many take aways I had and introduced dozens of friends and work colleagues to the place over the years. The kebabs in The Netherlands pale into comparison and they are all made by Turks but I rarely take one.
Wimpy in eastcote was class, the same fella running it ran manor kebabs, you'd meet him lunch and bedtime and he knew your dietary habits
We haven’t but it seems some of us have now transferred to the local kebab house and have decided to rethink their commitment to the big two in the chain of eateries
Turkish kebab pmsl, first time I went to Türkiye I had a kebab opened it it had one piece of doner meat in it, I took it back and demanded more meat, he put another piece about 8” long in it, when the bill came he charged me for 2 kebabs Hośgeldiniz Türkiye
My Mackem next door neighbour has heard that we are after their centre back Dan Batth. He has a year left on his contract but won’t be offered an extension and would be let go for free. My neighbour says he’s decent, a good organiser/leader, hard as rock, club captain, has no pace. He would prefer to keep him to guide their young talented CBs. Jack Colback is massively injury prone.
If we’re going to go for experience then he looks like a good addition for us - fans player of the year last season. Depends if we can get him on a free and still afford him. Cook seems to have worked based on the Cardiff game - so why not. As others have said maybe our next Clint/Derry.
The one in Ruislip was decent, I want to say Aspendos but the old grey matter is deserting me these days. The best one by far in that area was a van along the Crowley Road on the right hand side a few hundred yards before you got to Mahjacks roundabout.
I live in Eastcote now and can confirm that the Wimpy is still there. I've never used it but its very existence is kind of comforting.
