And praised for when it works well. That's how it works Strolls, that's football for you. Take the pace of Smyth and Armstrong out of that team yesterday and I reckon we would have been under the kosh. Cardiff were poor for large periods of the game, we were shockingly poor against oxford and Watford. What worked yesterday certainly won't against a fair few teams, especially with the lack of depth in the squad. Maybe Ainsworth is learning and we all want him to succeed as we would want any manager to. That's one game that I've been impressed with, just one but I still think Cardiff were poor.
All credit to Ainsworth for changing things up. As you say, it's only one game, but he deserves credit for doing it and gives me some hope going forward.
Good afternoon all. I meant to pop on here last evening but my misery got the better of me. So just wanted to say well done in your victory it was well deserved over the 90 minutes.
Nah! Thinking more about it the 3 subs all slot into the same positions too, though when Armstrong went off Dykes moved further forward and Bonner played where Dykes had been. Albert took Smyth's position- not a success when he no longer has the legs Richards took Chairs place.

He comes across really well, very raw and not a PR rehearsed automaton. I love his enthusiasm and emotion.
I feel the same mate…..you can’t help but get a buzz from his enthusiasm, energy and passion that is obviously heartfelt. He genuinely seems like such a nice young lad who comes across as very likeable
