Villa high line massively exposed towards the end there. Some really poor defending. Did think the 2nd goal was offside, had it on mute so couldn’t hear what was being said but looked like burn was offside and fouled the guy to allow botman to knock it back across goal? But Newcastle were clinical. Isak looks like a very good striker when he’s fit
They can start with fernandez Sunday. Just go right though him on the first corner for either side That's at least get lavia a starting berth for anfield later on where the pair will learn
Bobby scored a hat-trick. That's five in two goals, highlighting the quality of... (a) the player, or (b) the league?
Think gonna see a lot of this. You’ve essentially taken prem players who although may be old still have some quality and out them into league 1 teams 1. Most of the players signed are forwards so should rip most of those defences apart and score lots of goals. Mahrez Firmino Saint/maxim is a half decent prem forward line. Against league 1 defences you’d expect plenty of goals.
Christ footballers are thick. They've all been warned about dissent, imaginary cards and crowding refs and yet quite a few are still getting themselves booked for doing it.
Spurs 45mins into the new season, 4 Yellow cards. Does the Ozzy know he's not at Celtic anymore and Refs wont look the other way for his team.
It’s a habit they’ve had for 10 years (especially the South Americans where it’s standard growing up) so it’s more instinct and training it out of some players. No surprise that it was two South Americans that got booked for it today
