ours was I think but not where they measured it. yours by the line of the pitch was also off. you are buying an awful lot of ****. every sub you made was making your team that bit worse.

Rather than talking about the obvious, I'll go with the positives... Zobo and AMC look like very good recruitments. We clearly played 433 with Trent mainly playing RB. Diaz and Nunez look hungry. We played very well in the first thirty minutes showing we can do it.
Both level in my opinion so shouldn’t have been but we’re correctly on current rules. Salahs one didn’t look as offside as the lines made it though. Was about a foot off in the end somehow
Gotta let the window close before judging. It’s not that I’m happy but the rebuild is for the next 5 years, not the next 5 games so we’ve just got to see what’s around the corner but if anyone thinks that a 19 year old boy is the answer to our problems, they need to give their head a wobble.
I think given the opposition it was a more traditional formation. If TAA tucks in then just be way too much space out wide against that midfield 5. I think against a more 433 will see him tuck in more though. Always a worry playing chelsea or anyone else with the 5 across midfield that James and chilwell get so much space out wide
Shame was such a poor pass from Mac in that last 5 mins to Nunez otherwise into his feet and just had to turn and finish
Both looked offside to me, looking at the lines on the pitch - tight, but off. I'm happy to see players booked for waving the imaginary card - one of those rare refereeing changes I actually agree with.
I will say, despite being critical of both teams, I think it's obvious that a CDM, both teams will be better. I think our short passing game was a little bad. A lot of short passes astray, a lot not controlled very well because perhaps over hit slightly... those are things that should improve too. Seemed to be some hesitancy on decisions, again, should improve. Bad performance overall, but I think we will improve.
That's because you said it before the game. All things considered it was a fair result given the way the game played out - to accept it beforehand is lacking ambition.
