According to Hartlepools web site Stewart and Dawson are playing this afternoon, does than mean they are likely to be on the bench Saturday, or not featuring?
Stewart has already tweeted that he's expecting to play 45 minutes, which suggests he will be on the bench on Saturday.
From the OWS: Hull City Reserves drew 1-1 with Hartlepool United Reserves at Billingham Town on Wednesday afternoon. City went ahead in the ninth minute when Cameron Stewart's cross was turned into his own net by Pools defender Jordon Mellish. Hartlepool levelled just after the hour mark through Callum Hassan. Stewart played the opening 45 minutes while Andy Dawson played for around an hour. Full report to follow..... Tigers: Rob Peet, Danny East, Andy Dawson, Douglas Wilson, Fraser Papprill, Sonny Bradley, Francis McCaffrey, James Harper, Danny Emerton, Gavan Holohan, Cameron Stewart.
Just looked at the match report for this game on the OWS, and it mentions a player called Kealon Dillon. Wasn't he on trial with us a couple of months back, only to not have the club pursue interest in him? According to the HDM anyway.
There was a bit of confusion over that, Pearson said none of the trialists we had at the time were being offered a deal, but he meant the senior player trialists, he didn't include Dillon as he's only a youth player and I think(as Mussie says) he did get a deal.
Did those players from bermuda ever pop up? Would have thought they'd have played some part against hartlepool.
